I thought it was an ill-functioning product (Amazon refurbished) but the version "new" has the same flaw. The sound works nickel, it is beautiful, nothing to complain over there. But apparently, in Windows 10, the poor Yeti is not compatible. And this is not written anywhere. For me, it worked for two days. I was able to record videos, talk on Skype, everything worked well. And then on the third day, I get home from work, I plug in my microphone to record a small video and there, what was my surprise when the mic no longer works! It is recognized by Windows, I can see it clearly in my entries. Just no sound comes up in Windows when I speaks, sings, cries, into the microphone. Apparently, this is a KNOWN problem. I therefore find it very harmful that it is specified nowhere on the product sheet. So I spent two days trying to find a solution. I just spent two days filming a raid with ATV. At the beginning, I wanted to use the auto gain, but I quickly realized that it would not be possible! Issue of saturation very quickly detected. I am resolved to set the gain in manual with fear of the result.... Of course, I had to repeatedly change the gain of the microphone according to the situations: full wind (and thus saturation is very important, or the need to lower the gain), under forest (elevation gain to capture the slightest noises of the nature of the mechanical noises of the BIKE) etc... I even conducted "interviews" of cyclists, for which I was afraid I would not be able to capture correctly the sound as a speaker (with amplified microphone) be found near but... once home, I noticed that the microphone very well handled the situation! In short, more than satisfied, the only drawback... very sensitive to the wind, thus 4 stars;it is necessary to think of placing an attenuator in the "hair" on it, which is not given (I would just lower the gain and time for shooting in the wind...). For info, I use it on a Canon 70D and it's just excellent: gain is displayed continuously on the screen shot, saturation is displayed in live etc... top! purchased product for my son, I can only give you their impressions, it works very well, good product high quality, price is too high.
